Poach-pro is a cooking accessory that enables any inexperienced cook to achieve perfect poached eggs.

The Process

Joseph Joseph challenged us to disrupt the egg-cooking tools market.

We led a number of user-centred “egg-xperiments” and obsessively studied the science behind each egg cooking method. During our research, we came across a Jamie Oliver YouTube video that inspired us to create a prototype using a peanut-butter container lid and some cling-film. After several attempts and many egg-based meals, we achieved a product that was easy and quick to use.

Final Product

Poach-Pro is now on the market and people are finally able to cook poached eggs at home without wasting eggs from failed attempts or using litres of water to wash the pan and other utensils. Just a simple, convenient and clean experience all-round.
