Multi-View Phone Stand.

PhoneTag is an innovative phone accessory that upgrades the experience of using smartphones for communicating, navigating or watching media. It does this by providing a standing “leg” for mobile phones in either a portrait or landscape position, enabling devices to be operated hands-free - an extremely useful function when holding video calls or following cooking recipes.

The Process

The challenge was to create a product that feels premium and sleek whilst integrating the specialised mechanical components that provide the rotational movement of the base and the hinging of the leg. All parts were carefully shaped to avoid unnecessary waste of material or space, and the form of the product was developed to match today's phone standards of quality and style.

Makers Department worked alongside manufacturers to achieve the perfect finish for PhoneTag, and also developed the branding and packaging of the product.
